Glenwood has gone a perfect 10-0 against Jacksonville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Titans will square off against the Crimsons at 4:30 p.m. Glenwood is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.
Glenwood took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over Monticello.

Irie Lohrenz spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on four hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Ryleigh Kiel was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. Hope Gilmore was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
Glenwood hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monticello struck out seven times.
Meanwhile, Jacksonville came into Friday's match having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. Neither they nor Pittsfield could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 4-4 draw.
Jacksonville also let their pitcher toss all eight innings and she was also dialed-in: Kenzie Law gave up three earned (and one unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks.
Glenwood's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.1 runs over those games. Jacksonville's draw gives them a new season record of 4-4-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Glenwood hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Jacksonville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Glenwood took their win against Jacksonville when the teams last played back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 10-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
