Coeur d'Alene and Highland are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2014, but not for long. The Coeur d'Alene Vikings are on the road again on Saturday and play against the Highland Rams at 1:00 p.m. on November 18th. Both teams come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Coeur d'Alene walked away with it. They slipped by Eagle 7-6 on Friday.
Meanwhile, Highland faced Meridian in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Highland managed a 20-14 victory over Meridian on Friday. The victory was nothing new for Highland as they're now sitting on six straight.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Highland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Riddle, who rushed for 136 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries. Riddle's longest rush was for an incredible 78 yards. Rhidge Barela was another key contributor, picking up 75 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Coeur d'Alene beat Highland 23-15 when the teams last played back in November of 2019. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Highland's Easton Durham, who threw for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Now that he won't be playing on Saturday, will it be that much easier for Coeur d'Alene to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
