The Olympic Trojans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They fell 53-41 to Wakefield.
Olympic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was RANDY JOHNSON, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was DEANGELO HALL, who scored 4 points along with 6 rebounds.
Olympic has fallen quite a ways from their 23-5 record last season and are now at 1-5. As for Wakefield, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Olympic will head out on the road to face off against South Mecklenburg at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. South Mecklenburg is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. As for Wakefield, they will face off against Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
