The Central Braves suffered their biggest loss since December 9, 2023 on Friday. They were dealt a 51-24 loss at the hands of KIPP Tulsa University Prep. While losing is never fun, Central can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while KIPP Tulsa University Prep is ranked 79th).
Central got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Montay Davis and
Jayla Miles, who each put up nine points.
Central's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central will take on Webster at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP Tulsa University Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Idabel at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
