Adamsville (Tenn.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring seven in the fourth quarter to seal a 24-0 victory over
Loretto (Tenn.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jacob Dengler in the second quarter, the Cardinals led 10-0 at the half.
Adamsville expanded its lead to 17 points entering the fourth quarter. AHS's lone score in the quarter came on a
John Reed Odom touchdown run.
The Cardinals' standout player in the win was Dengler. The sophomore running back ran for one touchdown. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.
Adamsville came into the game allowing 11.0 points per game.
The loss comes after Loretto defeated White House-Heritage 21-7 last week. The loss snapped the Mustangs' 3-game winning streak.
