After a string of four wins, Whiteville's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 22-15 to the South Columbus Stallions. The game marked the Wolfpack's lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Whiteville's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 7-3. As for South Columbus, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-4.

Whiteville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for South Columbus, they will host West Bladen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Stallions will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.8 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
