The Hearne Eagles fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They took their game at home on Friday with ease, bagging a 40-7 victory over Thorndale. For Hearne, this counts as revenge for the 53-16 loss Thorndale walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2022.
Hearne's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kemon Langham led the charge by throwing for 90 yards and a touchdown. Jamariyon Benford was another key contributor, rushing for 62 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries.
Hearne's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Thorndale, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Hearne does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Thorndale also has no future games currently scheduled.
