Jefferson (Council Bluffs) was involved in the highest-scoring high school football game in Iowa history, beating
Sioux City North 99-81.
According to
Tim Perera of the Omaha World-Herald, Jefferson took a knee late in the game instead of kick an extra point that could have put its total at 100.

Cameron Baker, a senior with an offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes, ran for 371 yards and eight touchdowns.
The victorious Yellowjackets put up 35 points in the second quarter alone and had 57 at the half.
Not willing to throw in the towel, Sioux City North responded with 60 points of its own in the second half.
Jefferson lost to Sioux City West 34-7 a week ago while North scored 47 in a win.
