After having lost a blowout to Challis in their previous game, Mackay was happy to find some success on Friday. Mackay narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Murtaugh 30-28. The success represented a nice turnaround for Mackay, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-48 loss. The contest pushed Murtaugh down to 1-0 and pulled Mackay up to the reverse 0-1.
Mackay will look to defend their home turf next week against Oakley at 7:00 PM. As for Murtaugh, they will face off against Dietrich.
