The biggest upset of the week belonged to Foothill, who took down 138th ranked Chico, 41-28.
The Cougars moved up to 184 from 222 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Eastern. Foothill was able to make move up by defeating the Panthers 41-28.
Chico's Daniel Robbins and Jesse Holmes have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Robbins has thrown for 2133 yards this season, while Holmes has 56 catches for 1006 yards. Tucker Gulliford from Red Bluff leads the league in rushing with 863 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Spartans take on Paradise. As it stands, Red Bluff is in third, while the Bobcats are in first.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Corey Hein's team takes on Paradise. The Spartans have allowed 203 points this season, while Rick Prinz's team has given up 179. Red Bluff allowed 21 points last week as it topped Pleasant Valley.
The Spartans were the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in Eastern. Earlier in the week, Red Bluff defeated the Vikings 48-21.
