Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Archbishop Mitty). They claimed a resounding 42-0 win over the Bellarmine College Prep Bells. The Monarchs have beaten the Bells the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bells has come to flipping the script.

Lazaro Faraj-Washington had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Archbishop Mitty is undefeated when Faraj-Washington posts two or more rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Joseph Engin, who threw for 116 yards and one TD.

Archbishop Mitty's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Bellarmine College Prep, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Coming up, Archbishop Mitty will square off against Junipero Serra at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Faraj-Washington and Iziah Singleton. Bellarmine College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
