The Lighthouse Community Wolves lost against the KIPP King Lions back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Lighthouse Community took a serious blow against the Lions, falling 79-31. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lighthouse Community in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.
It was another big night for Zion Taylor, who scored 20 points along with three steals for KIPP King. The team also got some help courtesy of Ja'mauri Woodfolk, who scored 15 points.
Lighthouse Community's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for KIPP King, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
Lighthouse Community does not have any more games scheduled as of now. KIPP King will head out on the road to take on the at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Leadership is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
