Hebbronville lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kevin Gonzalez, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Oscar Carrillo, who scored 13 points along with five steals.
Santa Gertrudis Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-11 record this season. As for Hebbronville, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-20.
