Hoosac Valley took care of business in their home opener. They had just enough and edged out Mt. Greylock Regional 14-12.
Meanwhile, Chicopee Comp didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 41-47 to Minnechaug Regional last Friday. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Chicopee Comp.
Hoosac Valley's win lifted them to 1-0 while Chicopee Comp's loss dropped them down to 0-2. We'll see if Hoosac Valley's success rolls on or if Chicopee Comp are able to steal their positive momentum.
