Floresville kept a clean sheet against Poteet on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Poteet Aggies with a sharp 8-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers/Jaguars, who have now won 13 games by four goals or more so far this season.

Floresville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those three matches. As for Poteet, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-15.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Floresville will face off against Somerset at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Somerset will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Floresville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Poteet, they will challenge Uvalde at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Poteet has given up an average of 5.8 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
