Section saw some tournament action on Friday. They ended the year with a bang, routing the Douglas Eagles 59-39. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Section has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 22.1 points. As for Douglas, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8.

Section won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Kate Duncan Smith DAR at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Douglas, they and Plainview will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
