Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Tabari Allen, who scored 15 points along with nine rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Franklin, who scored 16 points.
Smiths Station's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-14. As for Auburn, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-4.
