South Whidbey won against Coupeville on Saturday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. Everything went the Falcons' way against the Mount Vernon Christian Hurricanes as they made off with a 10-3 win. The Falcons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by seven runs or more this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for South Whidbey, bringing their record up to 9-9. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Mount Vernon Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Looking ahead, South Whidbey will venture away from home to challenge Orcas Island at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.24 runs per game on average), something the Falcons will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Mount Vernon Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Coupeville at 6:00 p.m. The Hurricanes are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
