The Coudersport Falcons entered their tilt with the Cowanesque Valley Indians with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Coudersport enjoyed a cozy 20-6 victory over Cowanesque Valley on Thursday. Coudersport pushed the score to 20-0 by the end of the third, a deficit Cowanesque Valley cut but never quite recovered from.
Gavyn Ayers was his usual excellent self, rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 101 yards and two touchdowns.
Coudersport's victory was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.3 points per game. As for Cowanesque Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
Coudersport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cowanesque Valley is also done with their season.
