They walked away with a 41-32 victory over Travelers Rest. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Eastside also won the last time the pair played last Tuesday.
Eastside was led to victory by Ginny Anne Dumont and Kristen McBride . Dumont scored 8 points along with 3 steals, while McBride scored 6 points along with 6 steals. McBride is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylan Hickman , who scored 8 points along with 8 rebounds.
Eastside's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Travelers Rest, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastside will take on Hillcrest at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Hillcrest focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 57 last Friday. As for Travelers Rest, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Berea at 6:00 p.m.
