They took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buccaneers. Dos Palos has not had much luck with Avenal recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Dos Palos' defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Jacquez Jones, who scored 15 points, and Sixto Ibarra who scored 11 points.
Dos Palos' defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-14. As for Avenal, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dos Palos will take on Firebaugh at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Avenal, they will head out on the road to challenge Coalinga at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
