After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lowry, the Clark Chargers were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Valley 54-27 on the road. That's another feather in the cap for Clark, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Clark was led to victory by Arianna Brown and Trinity Tavita. Brown scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Tavita dropped a triple-double on 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 steals. The match was Brown's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Coryn Theus, who scored 10 points along with 4 steals.
Clark's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Clark will head out on the road to face off against Durango at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Valley, they will be playing at home against Las Vegas at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
