Millard North extended their home winning streak to 17 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Derek Rollins. The Millard North Mustangs came out on top against the Lincoln Southeast Knights by a score of 71-58 on Tuesday thanks in part to Rollins, who went 12-for-16 en route to 30 points in addition to eight boards and three blocks. He is becoming a predictor of Millard North's success: when he posts at least 15 points the team is 14-2 (and 2-3 when he doesn't).

The team also got some help courtesy of Amari Rahaman, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 12 points along with six assists and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last four games he's played.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Prospedi Mukendi, who went 8-for-10 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Mukendi a new career-high in shooting accuracy (80%). Another player making a difference was Chewy Thoat, who went 5-for-11 en route to 16 points and seven boards.

Millard North is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.2 points over those games. Lincoln Southeast has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-8 record this season.

Millard North will welcome Papillion-LaVista South at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Papillion-LaVista South's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 12 games. As for Lincoln Southeast, they have already played their next contest, an 82-66 win against Millard West on the 20th.
