Western Christian will bounce into Friday's game after beating Arrowhead Christian, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. The Fighting Lancers claimed a resounding 35-0 win over the Eagles. The result was nothing new for the Fighting Lancers, who have now won seven matchups by 25 points or more so far this season.

Western Christian can attribute much of their success to Carter Doolittle, who threw for 145 yards and four TDs, and also rushed for 31 yards. Those four passing touchdowns gave Doolittle a new career-high.

Meanwhile, Linfield Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Whittier Christian on Friday, but they still walked away with a 19-14 victory.
Linfield Christian found their leader in sophomore Madden Mayer, who picked up 2.5 sacks, forced two fumbles, and made 16 total tackles (6.0 for loss).
Western Christian's record now sits at 9-0. As for Linfield Christian, their record is now 3-6.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. Western Christian has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 294.7 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Linfield Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 30.8 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
