There's no place like home for the Seagoville Dragons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They put the hurt on Conrad with a sharp 61-38 victory on Friday. Given Seagoville's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 256th, while Conrad is ranked 916th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Travion Hall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds. He hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Gregory Fossett, who scored eight points along with three steals.
Seagoville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season. As for Conrad, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seagoville will face off against Samuell at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Samuell will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Conrad, they will head out on the road to face off against Adams at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Adams focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
