 While Scottsboro was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Guntersville's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11,  25-16.
Meanwhile, Arab earned  a  2-0 win over Addison  on Thursday.
 Arab never let Addison on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 28-26,  25-17.
 Scottsboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Arab, they pushed their record up to 17-19 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home.
 Scottsboro suffered a grim  3-0 defeat to Arab  when the teams last played  back in October of 2024. Can the Wildcats avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
