Plymouth won the last time they faced Triton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Pilgrims/Rockies blew past the Trojans 14-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pilgrims/Rockies.

Preston Wolfe was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Dominick Vasquez also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Plymouth was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .480. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Plymouth's record now sits at 11-9. As for Triton, they moved to 12-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plymouth will welcome Warsaw at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Pilgrims/Rockies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 7.8 runs per game this season. As for Triton, they will face off against Argos at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Trojans are facing the Dragons at the right time seeing as the Dragons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
