 Delone Catholic got a great performance from  Denver Ostrum as he  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up  three earned  (and one unearned) runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk).
 On the hitting side,  the team  relied heavily on  Zach Staub, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Nic Pierce, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Biglerville came up short against Camp Hill on Friday and fell  11-6. Biglerville has struggled against Camp Hill recently, as their  contest on Friday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
  Parker Black made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kolton Trimmer, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Delone Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Biglerville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
 Delone Catholic was able to grind out a solid  victory over Biglerville in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023, winning  3-0. Will Delone Catholic repeat their success,  or does  Biglerville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
