The Canterbury School Saints couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 59-36 walloping at the hands of Ethel Walker on Saturday. Canterbury School lost against Ethel Walker in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 62-41 score last time.
Ana Milanovic was a one-man wrecking crew for Ethel Walker as she dropped a double-double on 28 points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Taelor Arnold, who scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds.
Canterbury School's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Ethel Walker, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Canterbury School does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ethel Walker will head out on the road to face off against Loomis Chaffee School at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
