The Santa Ana Saints fought the good fight in their overtime game against the Santa Monica Vikings on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Vikings 33-27. Santa Ana has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Santa Monica to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caden Mccallum, who rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns. Mccallum was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 59 yards. Santa Monica also got help from Griffin Seals who showed off his sure hands for 155 receiving yards.
Santa Ana's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Santa Monica, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-4.
Santa Ana does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Santa Monica also has no future games currently scheduled.
