Baseball Recap: St. David Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

St. David entered their tilt with Patagonia on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Lobos 10-4. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Luke Haymore was excellent, going 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Roman Tilton also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

St. David was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are undefeated (7-0) when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

St. David pushed their record up to 10-8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Patagonia, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.
