The Wesley Chapel Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They breezed by Pasco on the road to the tune of 100-43. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Wesley Chapel has managed all season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wesley Chapel to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sian Morris, who scored 20 points along with five assists and five rebounds. The matchup was Morris' eighth in a row with at least ten points. Trey Murray was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with five assists.
Despite the loss, Pasco still got an impressive performance from Sidney Allen, who scored 20 points along with five rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him.
The victory (which was Wesley Chapel's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 80.0 points per game. As for Pasco, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Wesley Chapel will head out on the road to face off against Sunlake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sunlake is on a three-game streak of home wins, Wesley Chapel a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Pasco will be home for the holidays to greet Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wiregrass Ranch's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
