The Jac-Cen-Del Eagles were the 56-38 winner over the Trinity Lutheran Cougars when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Jac-Cen-Del took a 55-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Trinity Lutheran on Saturday.
Trinity Lutheran's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Lang, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Lang is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kowan Gross, who scored 16 points.
Jac-Cen-Del's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Trinity Lutheran, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jac-Cen-Del will square off against Greensburg at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Trinity Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Shawe Memorial at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
