They had to suffer through a rough 46-7 loss at the hands of Williamsburg Academy. Spartanburg Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.
Despite the loss, Spartanburg Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: Noah Caffell rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown.
Camden Moore was on fire for Williamsburg Academy: he rushed for 120 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 73 receiving yards. Moore's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Conrad Balder, who threw for 135 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
Spartanburg Christian Academy bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 12.3 points per game. As for Williamsburg Academy, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
