Basketball Recap: Eureka Wins Going Away Against Clinton

After losing to Clinton the last time they met, Eureka decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eureka Hornets took down the Clinton Maroons 57-40 on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.

Eureka has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.3 points per game. As for Clinton, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Eureka will face off against Flanagan-Cornell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Eureka knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Flanagan-Cornell likes a good challenge. As for Clinton, they will host Heyworth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
