The Lakeland Regional Lancers had a rough outing against Wayne Hills this past Thursday, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Lakeland Regional strolled past the Kinnelon Colts with points to spare this past Saturday, taking the contest 53-41. For the Lancers, this is just revenge for the 72-60 loss they suffered against Kinnelon the last time they faced one another Feb. 16 of last year.
The victory bumped Lakeland Regional's record up to 8-15. Kinnelon's overall record fell to 4-18.
Lakeland Regional will take on Wayne Valley on Tuesday. Wayne took a loss in their last matchup and are no doubt out to reverse Lakeland Regional's good fortune. Kinnelon is on the road again on Tuesday and plays against Pequannock. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close game.
