Chesapeake is 1-6 against Fairland since October of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. Last Friday, Chesapeake came up short against Rock Hill and fell 33-21.
Meanwhile, Fairland blew past Dawson-Bryant, posting a 56-22 victory on the road. The result was nothing new for Fairland, who have now won five contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Peyton Jackson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 251 yards and four touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Brycen Hunt, who picked up 123 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Chesapeake's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 3-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.67 points per game. Fairland has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in eight of their first nine matches, giving them a 8-1 record.
