Quinter's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gunner Catura, who posted 13 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Catura a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colt Werth, who earned nine points and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Dighton hadn't done well against Pawnee Heights recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Dighton simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pawnee Heights 59-18.
Dighton had a senior duo take command as Boston Shimer went 6 of 11 on his way to 13 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Noah Roemer went 7 of 11 on his way to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Daniel Cramer, who put up ten points.
The win got Dighton back to even at 1-1. As for Quinter, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
