The Romeo Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Utica by a score of 55-53. While losing is never fun, Romeo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 376th, while Utica is ranked 14th).

That's the first time this season that Hasan scored 15 or more points. Luke Cottingham was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Romeo now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Utica, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Romeo will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Hamtramck at 7:00 p.m. Hamtramck knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully Romeo likes a good challenge.
