Apache will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Walters at 7:30 PM. Apache are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the game prepared for a fight.
Apache took the matchup and then some with a 56-8 win last Friday over Healdton.
Meanwhile, if Walters were riding high off their 47-14 takedown of Comanche two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Walters found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-22 punch to the gut against Ringling. Walters' low-scoring loss was the unsatisfying follow-up to their high-scoring outing the match before.
Apache's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Walters's defeat dropped them down to 3-1. We'll find out if Apache can add another positive mark to their record or if Walters can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Apache's step.
