Softball Recap: May River's Win on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Three

May River had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They never let the Hilton Head Island Seahawks get on the board and left with a 13-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 20-1 back in March.

Kali Clark was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. Mckayla Landry also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

May River always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .567. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hilton Head Island only posted an OBP of .133.

May River's record now sits at 10-6. As for Hilton Head Island, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.
