After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Taylor, Western Hills was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Everything went their way against the Withrow Tigers as they made off with a 12-1 win. Considering the Mustangs have won seven contests by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
John Farris was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and three runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Robert Casey, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
The victory got Western Hills back to even at 8-8. As for Withrow, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5.
Looking ahead, Western Hills will square off against Miami Valley Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Withrow does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
