Del Valle is a perfect 4-0 against Andress since November of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Conquistadores are taking a road trip to challenge the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Friday, Del Valle was fully in charge, breezing past Horizon 52-22. The win continues a trend for the Conquistadores in their matchups with the Scorpions: they've now won seven in a row.

Jake Fette and Dante Eytcheson were among the main playmakers for Del Valle as the former threw for 326 yards and four TDs and the latter gained 184 total yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance also gave Eytcheson a new career-high in rushing yards (146). Ivan Lopez did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 84 receiving yards.
Del Valle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 213 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in six consecutive games.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Del Valle's defense and their three sacks. Leading the way was Erick Chacon with two. Adrian Vizcarra was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making eight total tackles (4.0 for loss).
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Andress). They blew past Burges 62-7 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 416th, while the Mustangs are ranked 885th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Del Valle better keep an eye on Jamari Milton. He was instrumental in Andress' win, rushing for 75 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 304 yards and two touchdowns while completing 92.9% of his passes. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 50 yards. Aavant Clayton also helped out as he racked up 145 receiving yards.
Del Valle's record is now 7-1. As for Andress, their record now sits at 6-1.
Everything came up roses for Del Valle against Andress in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 52-20 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquistadores since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
