The Riverdale Cowboys lost against the Kings Christian Crusaders back in November of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Riverdale had to suffer through a rough 76-31 loss at the hands of the Crusaders. Riverdale has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Ronnie Roche continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Kings Christian, scoring 35 points along with seven steals. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyas Miro, who scored 12 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds.
Riverdale has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Kings Christian, they pushed their record up to 25-2 with that victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season.
Riverdale won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Tribe at 8:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Chowchilla has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 199 points over their last three matchups. As for Kings Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wonderful College Prep Academy is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
