After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Kremlin-Hillsdale, Covington-Douglas was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They blew past the Waukomis Chiefs 10-4. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Covington-Douglas' victory bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Waukomis, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.

Coming up, Covington-Douglas will face off against Ringwood at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Waukomis, they will head out on the road to square off against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
