The 12th CB and Poff Show — featuring hosts Chris Brown and Zack Poff — might have been its finest. Certainly it was its most energized.
Allen (Texas) coach Terry Gambill and
DeMatha 5-star defensive end
Chase Young held nothing back as Brown and Poff didn't either.
The result was a entertaining and candid 42-minute show, which also featured Poff and CB going at it and picking the games of the week.
Gambill, the first year head coach the nation's seventh-ranked team, gave his take on Texas high school football. He compared California and Texas and talked about the tough bracket his 11-0 squad is trying to make it through. Brown called it "the gauntlet" that is the Texas football playoffs.
The most entertaining part of the interview was when Gambill revealed a few of his acronyms, specifically BAM. The answer tickled Poff and Brown.
Young, part of the absolutely loaded Ohio State recruiting class, gives his fresh takes on just how good this DeMatha team is and how the D.C. region ranks among other national football hotbeds.
