Prospect won the last time they faced Conant and things went their way on Thursday too. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cougars. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Prospect had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-17, 25-10.

Prospect's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Conant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

Prospect didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Elk Grove on the 16th. As for Conant, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Proviso East on the 13th.
