Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square, Pa.) extended its winning streak to seven games with a 21-0 victory over
Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (Philadelphia, Pa.) on Saturday.
The Churchmen were up 14-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Anthony Feliziani in the first quarter.
Episcopal Academy expanded its lead to 21 points entering the fourth quarter. EA scored once in the quarter on a
Adam Strouss touchdown run.
Strouss stood out for the Newtown Square school in the win. The senior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.
The Churchmen came into the game allowing 2.3 points per game.
Episcopal Academy got revenge for last year's 7-0 loss to the Blue Devils with the victory.
Episcopal Academy (7-0) will play a Inter-Academic game against Malvern Prep next week, while Springside Chestnut Hill Academy (1-6) will take on Germantown Academy also in a Inter-Academic game.
