They were outmatched by DCP Alum Rock on the road and fell 66-26. Luis Valdez Leadership Academy has struggled against DCP Alum Rock recently, as their matchup on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Isidro Cigarroa Fores, who shot 5-for-7 from downtown and dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 assists for DCP Alum Rock. Cigarroa Fores also posted eight+ assists for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Tony Clarida, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds.
Luis Valdez Leadership Academy bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for DCP Alum Rock, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
