The Milan Wildcats won against the Gallatin Bulldogs last Monday with 45 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Milan snuck past the Bulldogs with a 45-40 win. The win made it back-to-back wins for Milan.
Milan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Marian Dabney, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. Another player making a difference was Emerson Pauley, who scored 15 points along with two steals.
Milan's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Gallatin, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 10-6.
Milan will square off against the Tigers at TBD on Friday. Higbee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine contests -- so hopefully the Wildcats likes a good challenge. As for Gallatin, they will head out on the road to challenge the Bluejays at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (West Platte is ranked 197th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 201st).
